The Fairoaks was not only a bathhouse, but also a hotel. Men could rent a room for a day or a week and have in and out priviledges. There was also a large staff who had routine duties to perform. Some of the photographs are best described as recording these everyday events. If you place your pointer over the thumbnails to the right, a larger version will appear in the middle frame.
